I’m writing some more detailed stuff about practice strategies, but it’s still under construction.

Meanwhile, here are some pictures of signs in India.

Patent medicine. Unfortunately, you can’t see the “after” picture. Take it from me that the guy is smiling.

I believe this is a brand of Indian whiskey, and despite it being “Export Quality” I doubt it’s ever left Indian shores. But I could be wrong. Maybe it’s men’s undershorts, or aftershave, or something.

This character is advertising “Plastic Glow-Signs.”

The top two panels of this multi-story wall sign are advertising bras and undershirts; the bottom two panels are, um, plugging a product called “Purgo-Lax,” a name which leaves little to the imagination. The next shot gives a closeup of the English panel at the bottom, unfortunately obscured by the Post Office’s banner. Grrrr.

“Relieves From Constipatipation, Biliousness, Pimples and Gas In The Stomach.” Constipatipation, in case you hadn’t figured it out, is when you can’t defecatecate. But I digress.

The King Kong remake was released in India. Did he really battle dinosaurs, or was that left over from Jurassic Park?
